It's official.

After six months in process, More Truly Human Healing is an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The Invitation

Every survivor can have a next hopeful step identified.

And when obstacles come up, we're here to help look for a way forward.

Who we serve, what we do, and what changes

01

Who

Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse

02

What

We fund a place in a program that supports everyday life

What we do

We help cover the cost of a next step, chosen by the survivor and their licensed provider.

✓

We build a team of partners and seek grants to help fund a seat in a program.

✓

Name a next step

We help adult survivors name a next hopeful step, and find a way toward it.

✓

The Next Hopeful Step

“

Hope is practical.

The survivor and their licensed provider choose the step; we help make it possible. If obstacles come up, we'll help look for solutions.

What we don't do

01

Not a clinic

We don't provide treatment, diagnose, or take insurance.

02

Not a ministry

Our support doesn't require shared faith.

03

Not a crisis line

In an emergency, call 988 or your local emergency number.

04

We don't retain stories

Survivors' stories stay their own.

A day off in Zambia. An affogato. A book.

How this began

Thirteen years ago, as a young father doing missions in Zambia, Jediah Tanguay finally found the courage to open a book for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

What it planted

That afternoon is where this started. It didn't finish anything. It just named a next step. That's still what we do.

For Everyone

Support that doesn't require agreement.

Every person deserves dignity, a next step, and people who will stand with them. Some of us come to this from Christian faith. Others come from different places. What unites us is the practical hope that survivors should not face the cost of their next step alone.

Our Values

How we stand with survivors

01

Authenticity

We stop pretending.

02

Audacity

We risk being seen.

03

Generosity

We open our hands.

04

Grace

We stay soft when it would be easier to harden.

05

Empowerment

We slowly take our lives back.
